- Retail Auto Shop Manager
- Generate sales from local and online channels
- Respond to all local inquiries from walk-ins and telephone calls
- Manage auto technicians and retail salespersons
- Schedule and oversee all repair and installation jobs
- Order and acquire parts from local and out-of-state vendors
- Coordinate all local pickups and deliveries
- Manage inventory with the help of warehouse clerks
- Follow up with customers through courtesy calling and onsite visits
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations
- Internet Auction Specialist
- List auto performance products on auction sites
- Revise multiple listings using auction listing tools
- Maintain knowledge of product availability and update listings accordingly
- Follow manufacturers' pricing and listing guidelines
- Follow auction houses rules and restrictions
- Devise a thorough plan for process implementation and modification
- Put forward valid recommendations to improve the online sales process
- Show familiarity with after-market and performance auto parts and brands
- Show experience with microsoft tools such as Word and Excel
- Salesperson
- Show intimate familiarity with car internals
- Show thorough knowledge of after-maket and performance auto parts
- Spend a great deal of time navigating auction sites and car forums
- Develop and maintain a customer database
- Source and develop client referrals
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
- Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
- Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
- Maintain sales activity records and reports
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
- Exhibit polished telephone manners and razor-sharp salesmanship skills
- Show experience with microsoft tools such as Word and Excel
- Office Manager
- Manage office daily operations and coordinate activities of workers within the office
- Organize office operations and procedures such as word processing and bookkeeping
- Perform general office duties such as filing, ordering supplies, faxing, copying, etc.
- Answer phones, take messages, route calls, and address complaints efficiently and politely
- Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments as well as preparing items for shipment
- Print shipping labels and assist with shipping procedures and inventory control
- Assist with customer support related issues as needed
- Show strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
