Product Description

Big tires and aggressive usage of your JL Wrangler, JL Unlimited or JT Gladiator vehicle will cause the factory steering components to bend or break. For those who get their vehicles out in the dirt, the RockJock Currectlync Heavy Duty Steering System is must-have! Being pro-active, so you don't get stranded in the wilderness is the smart thing to do for your family's safety. RockJock's Currectlync Steering System is a completely bolt-on solution that features an alloy steel 42mm (1.654 in.) diameter tie rod, a solid forged steel, organically shaped, high articulation drag link, larger forged, greasable rod ends, premium jam nuts and adjusters and it's painted black, so it's ready for install right out of the box! The new drag link’s organic shape ensures maximum up travel where your steering components are concerned. With this piece installed, you should also consider our RJ-9120FJLF organically shaped forged Trac Bar and our RJ-107101-101 adjustable front bump stop kit so that you can fine tune your vehicle to truly achieve maximum up travel out of your build. Currectlync steering kit also includes RockJock's JL/JT High-Mount Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket Kit for the passenger's side of the factory stabilizer shock, which moves the shock from the tie rod to the axle housing, as well as way up out of harm's way. A heavy duty stabilizer shock mounting kit for the opposite end of the factory stabilizer shock is also included that moves that shock mounting location from the axle housing to the tie rod tube. Both the tie rod and drag link feature double adjusters so that they do not require removal from the vehicle for adjustment once installed. This unit is designed for use on stock height or lifted vehicles, but for those with big tires, these components are also compatible with ram assist steering (see ram assist mounting bracket options here. This easy to install kit requires no modifications or machining to any part of the vehicle! Since you are this far along in your vehicle modifications, consider our High Steer Knuckle Kits for your application. These kits include this steering system!

Product Key Features

  • Heavy duty greasable rod ends for increased strength and long service life
  • Double adjusters on both rods simplifies alignment (eliminates the need to remove ends of the rods to adjust, or stabilizer or ram to adjust tie rod)
  • Compatible with ram assist steering (see our ram assist mounting solutions here)
  • Designed for use with up to a 6 in. lift
  • Compatible with any OEM JL/JT wheel
  • Works with any size tire
  • For use on any factory JL/JT differential found in all JL/JT models
  • Can be used with factory iron or aluminum outer steering knuckles,
  • RockJock high steer knuckles, or other aftermarket knuckles that retain the stock JL/JT taper in the rod end mounting holes
  • All 4 rod end tapers are designed to fit the vehicles stock, original taper for ease of installation. If your tapers have been enlarged or drilled out – this will no longer be a bolt-on kit
  • Regardless of lift amount (stock to 6 in. lift, stock knuckle or high steer), to prevent the stabilizer shock relocation bracket from making contact with bottom of the frame rail, Gas 3.6L/2.0T/Mojave and 4XE vehicles must have a minimum of 1 7/8 inches of bump stop over stock when using the factory stabilizer shock with dust shield - or - a minimum of 1 3/8 inches of bump stop over stock when using a shock without a dust shield. EcoDiesel vehicles must have a minimum of 7/8 inches of bump stop over stock when using the factory stabilizer shock with dust shield - or - a minimum of 3/8 inches of bump stop over stock when using a shock without a dust shield. 392 Hemi vehicles feature enough increased bump stop from the factory that this is not an issue
  • In stock knuckle applications, no increase in bump stop is required for the sake of the Drag Link
  • In High Steer Knuckle applications, to squeeze the absolute most up travel out of your vehicle, we recommend the use of our RJ-9120FJLF organically shaped forged Trac Bar and our RJ-107101-101 Adjustable Bump Stop Kit
  • When using ram assist, be mindful of tube size when purchasing ram assist brackets
  • If you are intending to use a Fox ATS stabilizer shock with this system, see Fox part number 803-02-039 for the proper mounting solution
  • If you are intending to use a Falcon Nexus stabilizer shock with this system, see Teraflex part number 99-01-01-158 for the proper mounting solution
  • You must grease all rod ends via their zerk fittings before use
  • Grease unit with non-synthetic, hi-moly lube grease, such as our CE-9013G
  • 2-year warranty

Product Brand Information

RockJock by John Currie’s roots run deep as jeeping has been a love of the Currie family for decades. In his off-roading adventures, John pushed the limits of his vehicles coming to the realization of the shortcomings of the equipment. Thus, it became John’s goal to design and build the best-performing, strongest, most durable products on the market. A Jeep suspension upgrade product line was first developed in the 1980s based around Jeep CJ and YJ vehicles. Fast forward to 1998 and John’s off-roading passion evolved into professional rock crawling competitions. In 2001, John Currie took home the 1st place trophy in the Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series, in a RockJock equipped Jeep TJ Wrangler. This was the first of many victories and championships for John, and the victories have continued with various other drivers of RockJock equipped vehicles in numerous rock crawling, Ultra 4 and desert racing categories!
