Product Description
RockJock's Johnny Joint Adjustable Length Front Trac Bar for the TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ and ZJ vehicles features a narrow body Johnny Joint rod end at the chassis end and a forged chromoly narrow Johnny Joint at the differential. Johnny Joints provide maximum articulation in extreme off-road situations. The 1 1/4 in. x .250 in. wall 4130 chromoly bar is offset at the chassis end Johnny Joint and incorporates precise bends in the interest of pushing the bar as far forward as possible to provide maximum clearance between large differentials and the bar itself. Drilling is required to accommodate the supplied 5/8 in. frame hardware and 1/2 in. differential. Additional features include zerk fittings at both ends for greasing, gusseting of the Johnny Joint to the bar at the chassis end and a heavy duty flag nut at the differential end. See notes for fitment parameters with regards to lift amounts! Finish is semi-gloss black powder coat on the bar and gold zinc plating on the Johnny Joint adjuster end.

- Intended to be used with a minimum of 2 in. of lift
- Under 2 in. lift with Dana 30 frontends – may work but minimal testing has been done
- Under 2 in. lift with Dana 44 and 60 or 9 in. Ford style frontends – clearance issues are likely
- Always test fit before drilling!
- Drilling is required to accommodate the new, heavier duty hardware at the chassis and differential ends of this Trac Bar
- Bar is fabricated from 1.25 in. x .250 in. wall 4130 chromoly tubing. Adjuster features 1 in.-14 RH threads
- Johnny Joints require non-synthetic, hi-moly lube grease such as our CE-9013G

Product Brand Information
RockJock by John Currie’s roots run deep as jeeping has been a love of the Currie family for decades. In his off-roading adventures, John pushed the limits of his vehicles coming to the realization of the shortcomings of the equipment. Thus, it became John’s goal to design and build the best-performing, strongest, most durable products on the market. A Jeep suspension upgrade product line was first developed in the 1980s based around Jeep CJ and YJ vehicles. Fast forward to 1998 and John’s off-roading passion evolved into professional rock crawling competitions. In 2001, John Currie took home the 1st place trophy in the Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Series, in a RockJock equipped Jeep TJ Wrangler. This was the first of many victories and championships for John, and the victories have continued with various other drivers of RockJock equipped vehicles in numerous rock crawling, Ultra 4 and desert racing categories!
