The patented combination of oiled cotton gauze with synthetic material provides the ultimate in engine protection. This media thrives in the dustiest and dirtiest environments imaginable. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals, while its expanded metal protects against impact. One-Piece Heat Shield: The included massive air filter is surrounded by a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that helps reduce the intake of hot air from the engine compartment for maximum performance. Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube: This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. Hassle-Free Installation: This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications.
