Product Brand Information
Since our industry defining introduction in 1956, American Racing wheels have been a leader in automotive performance, style, and culture. From dominance on the track to bravado on the street, there has been one constant: we’re never idling. Our decades of heritage in American motorsports have made us the household name you know and trust. Meticulously crafted to offer an abundance of performance, with enthusiasts at our core. Founded in 1956 by drag racing forefather and innovator, Romeo Palamides, American Racing quickly became synonymous with performance by offering cutting edge, magnesium aftermarket wheels during America’s formative racing years. American Racing will go on to establish itself as the leader in aftermarket wheels in the drag racing and muscle car community for decades to come. The most iconic wheel of all time, the Torq Thrust, was developed in 1963 and is still going strong almost 60 years later. The simple, lightweight, 5-spoke design has been the most sought-after wheel design ever. Hot Rod Magazine has named the American Racing Torq Thrust one of the top 20 speed parts that changed the world. Unsurpassed style and performance that exceeds its imitations.
