Improved Power and Throttle Response: This BBK 73mm throttle body for 2011-2017 Ford Mustang V6 or 2011-2016 F-Series 3.7L V6 and 3.5L Ecoboost will significantly increase horsepower output and throttle response. This BBK 73mm Ford Mustang V6 throttle body will deliver more horsepower and works with both OEM air intakes and aftermarket cold air intakes and intake manifolds to ensure perfect fit and excellent performance.
High Quality Construction: BBK 73mm Ford Mustang/F150 throttle bodies are CNC machined from high quality 356 aluminum castings to ensure perfect fit. Features new injection molded plastic gear assemblies and motor for this modern drive by wire application.
Easy Installation: This throttle body comes complete with all required hardware for an easy install on your V6 Mustang or F150 right out of the box. Though it has a significantly larger inner bore diameter, the outside is only a tiny bit larger than a stock throttle body. This allows you to use any cold air intake designed for your engine or even the factory inlet tubing. We would recommend a cold air intake for best results, as it will ensure adequate airflow to the throttle body. This will not fit 2017 F150 3.5 Eco Boost Application without Modification. On 2017+ models the connector is located facing passenger side. Requires extending the OEM wire harness for fitment.

It is Legal For use on the following applications in ALL 50 States: 2011-2014 Ford Mustang V6 3.7L applications. With the introduction of the electronic fuel-injected Mustang, Camaro and Corvette in the mid 1980’s – a major transition began from a world where aftermarket performance would change from carburetors and point ignitions to new terms such as throttle bodies, air intakes and shorty headers. Enter Brothers Brian and Ken Murphy and high school friend Barry Morrison - who had spent all their spare time working on cars and reading the latest automotive performance news in popular magazines like Hot Rod and Car Craft. After moving to Southern California in early 1988, Brian and Barry would take their knowledge playing with a new 1988 5.0L Mustang they had recently purchased - and transition that into a start-up that would become BBK. Knowing Ken would be graduating high school in another year and come out to join the team, Brian came up with the name and logo that BBK is still using to this day. From day one it has been the goal to deliver to fellow enthusiast’s - products that would not only outperform the competition while delivering OEM quality to allow our products to be used on daily drivers not just weekend race applications.
